About Us

ESKAPE EXPLORE is an interactive dashboard continuously collects and presents information on genetic determinants of AMR & virulence from the publicly genome datasets of ESKAPE (Enterococcus faecium, Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Acinetobacter baumannii, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Enterobacter sp.) pathogens around the globe. In this project scientist from across the globe with microbial and biomedical backgrounds collaborated to perform a global genome analysis of ESKAPE pathogens and to develop an interactive platform to display the spatio-temporal trends in resistomes, virulomes and mobilomes. The dashboard is a user-friendly web interface that allows users to access the ESKAPE genome data and run analysis based on various parameters such as isolate collection year, geographical location of isolate, and source of isolation. The dashboard offers outputs that could be used for species-specific profiling or comparative analysis among ESKAPE pathogens.

VISION

To address the global, escalating threat of Antimicrobial Resistance by providing a single point access to AMR resistance, virulence data and spatiotemporal trends of ESKAPE pathogens in the One Health context to the collaborating, global scientific community.

MISSION

To provide the most user-friendly, up-to-date online dashboard for the analysis, interpretation, visualisation and utalisation of globally sourced AMR genomics data of ESKAPE pathogens for use in worldwide surveillance, intervention and implementation strategies within the One Health perspective.
